Twas crimble-tide and there was a studio prog going to require a very large screen (8ft IIRC) TV as part of the studio set. It turned up in December and the maintenance department were asked to check it would be OK. They chose a BBC Micro running Elite as a signal source and rigged up a comfy chair with that on one side and a joystick strapped to the opposite arm of the chair. Much testing later, and with a good number of second opinions from those of us in other departments, and it was decided it would probably do.
